The Brazin’ Blonde doesn’t conform to anyone’s ideas of what a beer should be. She’s a full-bodied Belgian blonde that’s light on the mouth but will still beat you in arm wrestling and steal your sandwich. Fermented at a variety of temperatures to bring out the full flavor profile of the yeast, she has been through it all, and stands strong. So what if she wants a generous helping of horehound hard candy to go with the earthy bitterness of her hops? She doesn’t need anyone’s approval, but confidently stands on her belief in her own goodness. We salute her strength of character and stubborn determination.
Inspired by the straw color of heated steel when tempered at 419 degrees and the Toledo area code. This easy drinking American pale ale is silky smooth with the perfect hop blend of fruity aroma, floral aroma and bitterness that contrasts with the honey malt and creamy head. An all around balanced ale that will satisfy the tastes of craft beer drinkers from apprentices through journeymen leaving all quenched.

This light and refreshing hefeweisen is the perfect thirst quencher after a day of life’s heaviest lifting. A German wheat beer with a stolid background of malt flavor, a subtle hop profile, and a fully spicy flavor of yeast. Take off those work-stained gloves, unbutton that blue collar, and enjoy the perfect finish to a job well done.
In 1837, a famous American blacksmith created a new style of plow to cut through the sticky Illinois mud. Now in 2019, a few infamous metalworkers turned brewers have created a beer to cut through the pesky American thirst. A combination of American malt, American honey, and American hops blend into a dry and delightfully malty rye ale with a crisp bitter finish. Raise your glass to American tradesmen and remember, Nothing drinks like a Beere.
Admiral Oaty McOatface at your service! This copper-bottomed oatmeal stout runs a tight ship with versatile roasty flavor. His silky-smooth manner is genteel enough to win the approval of fine-dining landlubbers over the dessert course (he particularly shows himself to advantage with creamy vanilla and rich chocolate). He is bold, brave and rich enough to make waves with any stout-lover, even the most frigidly arctic critics. Likewise, his adventurous stories of daring-do will earn him an invitation at any social gathering. And if that not be enough, the cut of his jib will make leeway with all fair dames. Bottoms up and smooth sailing!

Balanced yet bold, smooth but refreshing, this hazy New England IPA pours with a creamy head and drinks both crisp and silky. The hop blend boasts a sweet fruity nose, yet delivers a bitter tangy punch that tickles your tongue but doesn’t eat the enamel off your teeth. The One-Legged Brewer carries his own colorful story, and is the perfect IPA to drink while you swap your own tales.
Tart and fruity, our rosé is brewed with strawberry tea and rhubarb, then back sweetened with more strawberries. To us it tastes sweet and silky, maybe a little feminine, but by that we mean smart, brave, and competent.

Formed at 65 for 3 days. Turned down to 62 to finish ferment. Spunding valve reads 12psi under pressure.

This is the beer life.
There’s no conformity.
Brew how we want to,
Escape from monotony.

Wabash was a railroad that ran thru Toledo and The Cannonball was a fictional-turned-real train that ran until the line closed. A portion of the line has been converted into an awesome 66 mile trail that runs through Northwest Ohio. Our Wabash Cannonball is an amber ale, with a hint of earthy nose, crisp hops, and a malty, bittersweet finish.
This brown ale has got whatever it is, whether you are looking for a cold beer on a Friday night, something to toast bittersweet memories, or a roasty ale to drink in colder weather. A rich malty background with mellow caramel-chocolate notes that goes down smooth, it makes loving beer easy. So if you agree with me, raise your glasses for a toast, and jump right in, because there ain’t no hurry to get to the end of this ale.

Seasonal Styles

In fall 2022, Quenched & Tempered and Buffalo Rock received the same spam one-star review. It read, “Your bar is an abomination in the eyes of god and science.” We’d been planning to do a collaboration together anyway, and this gave us the inspiration to make it happen. And what better style, than an extra special bitter? Contrary to the name, and ESB is a deliciously crisp, perfect balanced, and easy-drinking ale.
Baba Jaga, an enigmatic supernatural character of Eastern European folklore, conjures conflicting feelings of ice cold winter and fiery hearths, dark forests or glades of wildflowers, an evil force or a nurturing godmother. Similarly, our spiced plum Belgian triple is a winter warmer that is sweet but spicy, strong but mellow, with subtle notes of cinnamon, clove, anise, raisins and a generous serving of plum.

Inspired by a trip to New England where we sampled some of the best hazy IPA’s in the country, we came home with a new-found craving for a juicy IPA. We used our most generous load of tropical hops to date, both in the boil and dry hopping, as well as over 170 lbs of mango and pineapple purée. It’s that intensely fruity and bitter quality of tropical hazy IPA, but to us it makes us think of chilly mist over the rocky bluffs, lobster rolls, and hikes to spectacular views.
Curl up in front of a cozy fire with our dear sweet admiral for a cup of cocoa. As bold and roasty as ever, he shows his softer side with a silky head of marshmallow fluff and a creamy chocolate finish.

Strong and bold, with undertones of warmth and carmel, this German-style carries the richness of old-timey craft beer into the present. Brewed in celebration of a beloved brother/uncle whose name rhymes with Dunkel.
This collaboration with Funky Turtle Brewing Company adds a peach tea blend with our refreshing hefeweizen. Smooth drinking and malty, with a creamy head and spicy yeast flavor. Unlike syrupy fruited beers, this sweet summery beer balances fruity peach with an earthy herbal blend and spicy hibiscus, and maintains the bracing quality of a traditional German-style wheat beer.
Oaty McOatface gets a festive fall makeover with pumpkin puree, milk sugar, and a generous helping of real food spices. It makes us want to curl up on the back porch with a spooky book, enjoying the crisp breeze and the smell of leaves.

A fruity American wheat ale made with true guava fruit, guava pear tea and bravo and calypso hops, this groovy tropical blend carries a vibe of summer concerts, electric guitars and tie-dye threads. Make beer not war.
Named after the Japanese metalworking technique of using layers of contrasting colored metals to create exquisite swirling patterns, our sour plum Japanese rice lager is vibrant and tart.

Brewed in honor of the late brother of two of our founders, this snack-cake-reminiscent cream ale is decadently sweet yet light and fresh. Toasted coconut, vanilla, raspberry… and is that breakfast cereal?… this ale calls to mind nostalgic visions of summer vacation, bike rides to the convenience store, backyard picnics, and homemade zip lines.
An old French style, saisons were brewed to quench the thirst of field workers. We crafted this recipe to emulate our favorite, Saison Dupont, and named it Saison du Jour, “saison of the day.” To us, it tastes fluffy and peppery.

Mysteriously alluring, this bright, sweet kolsch draws you in with its purple hue and the tantalizing aroma of fresh blueberries. Like siren song, you cannot turn away from the unique quality of this flavor.
Bold|Chill – Strong|Calm, this gentle giant is a true traditional style that connects us with our Celtic roots.
Named after a meteorite found at the foot of the Sierra de la Madera in Mexico and brought to Tucson Arizona, in 1850, where it was used as an anvil in a blacksmith shop, our black cerveza pairs the crispness of a lager with the boldness of a dark malt. We like it served up with a wedge of lime partnered with tacos.
This collaborative creation with Funky Turtle Brewing Co was a madcap scheme taken flight to get together and create the darkest beer we could conjure, while still honoring the rich essence of the style. Vanta Black fiercely pushes boundaries, yet is seductively rich and delicious.
And the Winged Hussars arrived…
On this day, September 12th, 1683, 3,000 Winged Hussars, backed by German and Roman soldiers, drove 200,000 Ottoman Turks out of Vienna, thus beginning the end of Turkish rule in Eastern Europe. Wearing actual wings as part of their armor and carrying a 19ft lance, these cavalry men must have been an imposing sight to behold. In honor of Polish bravery, today we release our imperial Vienna lager, The Winged Hussar. This dark amber lager gives taste to the phrase “liquid bread.” With rich malt, silky head retention, and 7% ABV, this lager is as imperious as its namesake.
